  • TourismHQ’s vision is to create unforgettable travel experiences, while supporting local communities and businesses in the countries we operate within. We are committed to a sustainable travel model that creates positive impact upon the community and environment.

At the heart of TourismHQ is our commitment to doing the right thing. We are proud of the work we do to support local businesses, give back to communities and minimise our impact upon the environment.

We have been working in Fiji since 2012, and over this time have built strong relationships with local businesses and suppliers. Across all of our experiential travel package offerings, we choose to work directly with local activity providers, in order to support local business owners and provide our guests with authentic cultural experiences.

We’re passionate about giving back to local communities wherever possible, through our SPRING BREAK™ Experience UPRISING and Fijian Cup initiatives.

SPRING BREAK™ Experience UPRISING is a unique opportunity for young Kiwis go on a culturally rich adventure, and make a positive impact upon the country they visit. Each year, we undertake a volunteering project to make a difference to local communities in Fiji. In December 2018, we are excited to be visiting Nakavu Village School to build rugby goalposts and netball hoops for students.

It is impossible to visit Fijian communities without taking in their true love of sport. Rather than disappearing home after school or behind a screen, kids gather with their friends to kick or throw a ball around until after dark. Small sporting events are major community gatherings in a village where sport is part of the culture.

With the proceeds from our Fijian Cup touch tournament, we are able to fly over international development coaches to run workshops with the local Fijian players.
